About the Journal

 Journal of Applied Bio-Research (JABR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication dedicated to advancing knowledge across a broad spectrum of scientific and technological disciplines. The journal serves as a platform for the dissemination of rigorous and robust research to an interdisciplinary audience of scientists and academics worldwide.

Published quarterly by the University of Fallujah, JABR operates under a strict double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scholarly integrity. The journal is committed to the open exchange of information, providing free access to all published content.

JABR welcomes original experimental contributions and significant theoretical findings. The scope of the journal is diverse, encompassing both pure and applied sciences. Disciplines accepted include, but are not limited to:

  • Biological Sciences: Bio-Physics, Bio-Chemistry, and related Environmental Biological Sciences.

  • Life and Health Sciences: Medicine, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Biomedical Sciences.

  • Engineering and Technology: Manufacturing and engineering of advanced biosensors and advanced Bio-devices.

The journal publishes several formats of scholarly work, including Full Papers (original research), Review Articles, and Scientific Reports.

Consistent with its goal of publishing high-quality research, JABR subjects all manuscripts to a rigorous editorial assessment. Each submission is initially screened for plagiarism and AI using professional software (Turnitin). Manuscripts that pass this initial check are then assigned to the Editorial Board and sent for a double-blind peer review by specialist reviewers in the field.

JABR is committed to an author-centric model. Authors are not required to pay any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, or publication. Upon acceptance, authors receive an official acceptance letter. All accepted articles are published in a permanent electronic format (PDF) and are made freely available to the public for unrestricted reading and downloading.
